Went to Vil'age with Pei, Yanx n Sexy OL after reading Kai's bloggie regarding the quality of food there after the takeover of Marche by Vil'age

1st course of the day: All- time fav rosti with CHEESE SAUSAGE =P

Famous "Donoghue & Stevenson" bottle

For this, mi n yanx thot the root beer tasted weird but pei n sexy OL found it to be normal

hmmmmm.......

Next up: Set dinner

For soup we had 3 choices: Bavarian Potato soup, Tomato Soup and Cream of Mushroom

Don't know why the 4 of us burst out laughing after seeing the 1st 2 soups (both were red red de, one of them is some tomato paste) so we decided to go for the most normal one.

We had a choice between Beef, Knuckles, Ham and Roasted Chicken
In the end we chose.....

Went to the Katong Hong Kong cafe last Sun

Tried the po luo bao, pork chop baked spag (Recommended!!), century egg lean meat porridge, curry fishballs, fried rice, xiao long bao( yesss again... but no la mian this time rnd), red bean drink with ice cream, tea milk.

The food is alright only... dunno izit coz my expectations too high alrdy. =x

And Zhiwen was right, the place is indeed quite cold. Probably coz we were sitting below the fan... haha Zhiwen, did u sit at the same seats as us? lolx

As usual, Tattie wanted to pay for the dnr but Anmei's action faster! Throw card! Yessssss laaaaaa! Anw, many thx to tattie for driving us there! =P

It's a cold cold day

Redeemed my free webcam frm Creative yst! Yessssss laaaaaa SKYPE! lolx ate at the Ministry of Food (Jap Restaurant) and it was quite nice, especially the dessert! Smoothie ice cream (according to Pei: where got ice cream not smooth de?!) with corn flakes in it! haha We ordered a toji set and tan tan ramen... Recommended to go again!

For students: 10% off ala carte menu and 30% off for desserts! (not applicable to * items, though most of the ala carte items are * =.=)

Watched Spirited Away... I know i'm laggy, the show had been shown for don't know how many times and I only watched it last nite =x Anyway was watching it with my bro and as I marvelled over the animation effects (it's pretty good considered how long ago this film was made!), he was telling me some parts of the animation is 2D n some 3D. OMG man... I cldn't tell which is which =( I think I don't have an eye for this kinda visual effects!

My after- thots: I also want my Haku! lolx

Haku is the white dragon who was always there for Sen and always helping and protecting her.

As for Sen, she grew from a small lil girl always sticking to her parents to be courageous and even saved the life of Haku! Pple only grow up in adverse times?

Probably root to my health probs: Drinking ants!!!

Don't know why but the water in my house always have ants inside!!! ROARZ! x.x

Yet another suay thing happened to me! My external hard disk actually died on me!!! ROARZ! All my stuff are inside larz! And some of them I nv do backup!!! *heart painz* Who can help me repair my hard disk!!! T.T

To summarise it all: 2006 had a bad ending, 2007 has a bad start.

Finally finalised my timetable... 3 days week but everyday starts at 8.30am *faints* bt at least can save on some travelling expenses $.$

Only 304 grpmates are out, praying for the best for my other 2 proj grps. But I guess I really must learn to adopt Pei's mentality and not be so grumpy when I don't get to group with friends. To quote from her: Everything will turn out alright. =)

Wishing for better health since gastric has been hitting mi pretty often since the start of this year, even as I type this entry x.x

Finally had a chance to go IKEA Tampines!

Had dnr there:

spaghetti(we ordered small which is reali small... kid size =.=)

fish n chips (i tink this is the most worth it, only $4.90!)

chicken wings (yummy yummy!!!)

all natural and healthy boiled potato

(according to Bing, it's so natural that u can taste the fertiliser n soil lolx)

and chocolate almond cake.

A pity we didn't try the zhao pai meatballs n sausage!

Wana go again!!!!

Finally bought my quilt cover! shall tk a pix when i lay it out on my bed.... haha

Bing also bought a quilt n quilt cover after lying on IKEA's beds =x his quilt is packed in a vacuum pack so is super thin and he promised to tk a video of his quilt "boom big"... still waiting to see the video lolx~

As i wana rush home for my 金枝玉孽, Bing wana c his 黎姿 and Pei juz wana go home asap, TAKE CAB AHZ! =)
