Attended my 1st salsa reggae lesson tdy! wheeeeeee~ finally had a chance to stretch my underutilised bones... lol

1st thot when i went into the activity rm: y is the instructor a guy?!?! reali din expect a guy to b teaching us... somemore he was there tryin to rem the steps =.= his moves were nt particular impressive either... diaoz~

Anw the lesson began with some basic warming up like turning head n raising shoulder.... after tt was the killer: open legs, bend slightly n start swayin body! v hard to descibe the action n it certainly looks simple bt it's enuff to crack my bones! Lol juz cant do the sway properly... guess i muz hav looked realli stiff.... we also learnt some basic salsa movements like some steppings n the swirls.... the stepping is reali hard coz u needa move ur butt front, side n back while walking! xtremely hard to coordinate the movement sia... beginning to tink the instructor is nt tt bad afterall... =X

After that is learning the dance the instructor choreograph for us.... all of us were like huh? juz nw oni warm up ahz? Lol the dance is quite nice n suppose to b sexy with a lil touch of beyonce's n shakira's butt shaking moves.... bt dun tink ani of us cld achieve that effect sia.. haha had difficulty catching up with the pace n rem all the moves let alone master all the curves n feel to it... surprisingly the instructor cld gav us the sexy feel... Lol yuan lai he reserved his power b4 the lessons... his moves r reali pro larz! though i muz hav looked cocked for the whole lesson but it was fun! then it was nt so much of ballrm dancing as i expect... more incline towards hiphop.... i lurve dancing!

lessons hav started full blown this wk... late for practically all my 205 class... urghz! i hate 8.30am lessons! this sem's 179 q seems to b the worst ever! super duper long every mrning! all the way to the MRT station! can u believe it?!?! it's like 1 whole round the interchge lorz... =.= damn sianz.... so even though i rch boon lay at 8am mi will rch sch at 8.35-8.40am! zZz.... 1 gd ting for this sem is my 205 grp was nt as bad as i thot... at least can work tog larz.... juz tt all of them like always prepared for the lessons..... oni mi slacked =X somehow dun seem to hav the chemistry of my 202 grp.... mayb it's still early? miss my 202 grp....
